Tourist Visa

  • A recognised passport or a recognised travel document.The passport or the travel document produced should have validity of 03 months after the expiration of the vaild visa.
  • One legibly and fully completed application form dated and signed.
  • One recent passport size photograph (To be glued to the form (no staples).
  • Letter of introduction explaining the purpose of the travel and the travel details.
  • Proof of employment and income: 
            A. For Self employed applicants :
               i Income tax return.
               ii Personal bank statements covering the past 03 months.

            B. For Salaried applicants :
               i A letter from the company expalining the designation and tenure of the applicant.
               ii Salary slips of last 03 months.
               iii Letter from the company confirming the leave status for the desired period of stay.

            C. if you are a student :
               a School attestation confirming the holiday and if the applicant is
                  below the age of 18 years.
               b Offical letter from the notary confirming the consent of both parents and
                  complete details as mentioned
                        i Destination
                        ii Time Frame
                        iii Name and passport number of child.
                        iv Name and relationship of the person accompanying the minor.
  • Proof of transportation: e.g. confirmed round trip or outbound airline ticket mentioning the dates of departure and return.
  • A valid hotel booking for the period of your stay in Belgium.
  • Travel Insurance (medical repatriation + urgent medical care) covering all Schengen countries for an amount of at least 30,000 euros.

Important:

  1. The documents listed above are only the basic documents to be submitted in all cases. Additional documents may be requested by the Embassy and Applicants may also be invited for an interview. 
  2. All submitted documents must be recent (within the last 06 months). Submitting false documents may be followed by legal action. 
  3. The Embassy may ask for verification from the bank/financial institutions for the financial documents provided.
  4. The above mentioned type 'C' visa is for valid for all Schengen countries and is intended for a short stay up to 90 days.
  5. The Embassy also processes applications for Luxembourg. 
  6. Minor applicants must provide a letter of consent signed by both parents
